BHARATIYA VIDYA BHAVAN
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan was founded by K.M.Munshi with the blessings of Mahatma Gandhi in 1938 when the country was engrossed in the struggle for freedom. While country’s freedom was the top national priority, serious thinking had started on National Reconstruction and Rejuvenation that was to follow the independence. Under the guidance of enlightened thinkers and visionaries like Shri.C. Rajagopalachari, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Dr.S. Radhakrishnan, Pandit Nehru, Sardazr Patel and others the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan aimed to revitalize the ancient values and reintegrate them with the changing times
Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Wayanad is a part of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan trust and is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education. It is the only school of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in the rural area of Wayanad which is located at Beenachi, Sulthan Bathery. The School offers classes from Kindergarten to Senior Secondary. It is an eco-friendly campus conducive climate and it aims at holistic education upholding fundamental values.
